Making your own disinfecting solution
1. Protect
Wear disposable gloves when cleaning and disinfecting surfaces. Clean hands immediately after gloves are removed.
2. Prep
If surfaces are dirty, they should be cleaned using a detergent or soap and water prior to disinfection.
3. Mix
Mix 1 cup of Albex™ bleach with 5 Litres of water.
4. Clean
Clean the surface with the bleach solution.
5. Wait
Leave the solution on the surface for at least 30 seconds before rinsing with water.
6. Rinse
Rinse disinfected articles with water and leave to air dry.
Cleaning tools should be soaked in diluted bleach for 30 minutes and then rinsed thoroughly before reuse.
7. Wash
Finally, wash hands with liquid soap, then dry hands with a clean towel or disposable towel.
